Bob McDonald

Mr. Bob McDonald joined Parks Hospitality Group in 2017 as the Corporate Director of Operations. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the company’s hotel and restaurant portfolio. Mr. McDonald is a 27 year veteran of the hospitality industry, and has led award-winning teams/operations in resorts, convention hotels, full service, select service, and free-standing restaurants and bars.

Bob is a two-time winner of Hilton’s Pride Award and is member of Hilton’s esteemed Circle of Leadership. He was a General Manager of the year, and a Malcolm Baldridge Team leader for service and operational planning for the Marriott/Sheraton Wardman Park Hotel in Washington D.C.  In addition, Mr. McDonald served as a Professor of Hospitality Management at the University of Missouri for ten years.

Bob has a proven track record of managing service centric teams that drive revenues and market share. Mr. McDonald has successfully supported and grown a “guest first” culture with profitable and efficient operations.

Bob holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Virginia Tech, and a B.A. from Caesar Ritz Colleges/Hotel Consult (Switzerland) in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.
